After six years away, we’re thrilled to announce the return of the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour to Chicago—for one unforgettable night only on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at the iconic Music Box Theatre.
While we’ll miss the Patio Theater, we think you’ll love our new venue. The Music Box is one of Chicago’s most treasured independent cinemas—full of character, beautifully restored, and located in the heart of Lakeview. With great restaurants, bars, and cafés just steps away, it’s the perfect spot to make a night of it. This year's film Program is excellent with many audience favorites. Please help me get the word out by sharing this page with Friends and your social media. Based on the succes of this show we'll plan to be back next spring with a 2 night program. It's been a big effort finding a new theatre and bringing this back I'd truly appreciate your support.
