 Most amazing people that I have ever experienced. The tenacity, determination and facing their fear is amazing. Loved the show!

 Buying the tickets was a little confusing.

 Nice mix of films tonight. Really loved the one about the man making bee hives, the one about adaptive mountain biking, and lastly, the one about the couple on Baffin Island. Didn’t understand the point of showing the 2 minute film kicking things off. Nevertheless, well done this year!

 Quite disapointed with the last film, the Beer drinking Dud. Should have left then. As climbers, 86 and 80, unimpressed!!! Love the Tots and wheels. Skateboarder was ok. Wonder how you got the paving so smooth. His flow was magnificent. His words were touching. The Rapper had a good message although difficult to hear over the music. The Robson climers were magmificent. So glad to see a woman with so much strength and skill. Their interactrion was impressive.

 Experience was good. Nice organizers and speakers. Did not connect with the audience as well as in the past. Love the name check at the door -tickets are hard to find in your email. Several of our friends had a lot of trouble finding them.

 The event was well delivered.

 Easy process.

 The gay advert was lame! Who asks? Silly stuff. Jews have a problem. Not gays but please don’t do a Jews in the outdoors next year.

 Great variety of amazing athletes and beautiful places.

 Excellent films. Especially loved "Finisher" about the Barkley marathons. It was exhausting to watch, but inspiring!

 Great venue - excellent films! Very entertaining and inspiring.

 Couldn't find a preview of the showings for each night. ould have chosen a different night.

 Overall enjoyed the films, but wasn’t as inspiring as other years.The overpowering male presence in the films was hard to get over. There MUST be a way to better balance this. In past years - there has been a film or even two included that is about conservation or some other aspect of being outdoors outside of extreme sports. Will come back to support next year because I do really like this event and being at the theater with others who love being outside!

 Love the Banff Mountain Film Fest tour! Been going since the 90s in Seattle & Bellingham. So glad it’s back in Chicago!

 We love these films, and try to attend the Banff Mountain Film Festival as often as we can. Our only concern with Saturday’s event was that most of the films were far too loud. It hurt our ears, and we had to put our hands over our ears for the films.

 I've been to dozens of Banff Film Festivals. This was the first one I was disappointed with because there were too many long films and not enough subject variety. Mostly for skiers and climbers.

 I liked the choice of films better than in a lot of years. A nice mix of extreme sports, human interest, and people overcoming adversity to make the world a better place.

 Nice event. Cool 124 year old theater. That being said, they need a new screen. The one where they showed the film was dirty or stained. Streaks were evident during several of the films when scenes had white or light backgrounds.

 My only complaint is that everyone I do business with floods my inbox with requests to review my experience. Most of them I just delete. I’m responding to yours because I like your organization, but I don’t like it when organizations all want to know what I think. Please consider some form of opt in for these requests.

 Nerve wracking to watch, just the way I like it! I still can't get into people projecting their personal bias in the films. The Rafting Mama's daughter's attitude ruined it for me. I didn't dare push back against my parents since I got walluped all the time as a kid.

 Some of this year's program choices were disappointing. For instance, everyone was happy for Jamaicans now that rock climbing has been introduced, but the film went far too long. Also, the audience had less energy than Friday's audience. It would have been great if the MC could have been more energetic. I think this could be an amazing event if you got the crowd energized, which wouldn't be hard to do.

 Liked this series better. It didn't have any "justification for my lifestyle episodes. The guys climbing that 6,000 meter mountain gave me the willies, it looked so challenging and dangerous. The climbers' personalities were portrayed in manner that supported their craziness.

 Better selection of films than Saturday's showing.The Bird in My Backyard, Wild Days and Dropping Molly were standouts.

 Some of the films were silly. I want to see people doing incredible things outside, not a rationalization of some one's agenda. The 5 gay guys rafting: OK, so what. They only were in class 2 water. The girl rock climbing: if she places 5 anchors and 4 fail, then she isn't a very good climber. That she fell and broke her back so close to the ground is an indication that a lot higher up she would have been dead. Find your thrill in another sport that you are good at.

 Much better on the 2nd day! That said, the hummingbirds were the best! I appreciated the human elements in the mountain climb too...no issues, just substance. Very good.

 This is an average of the first half and of the second half. First half=0. Second half=5. Stick to your roots and get off the progressive messaging that the audience didn't sign up for. We all know and work with gay guys. We all know and work with people with organic and acquired mental and emotional challenges. We come to you to see outdoor adventure and drama and even humor (remember CARCA? Goats? remember the guys who got unbanned from a ski race?). Get with it!

 Didn't care for the political films on Saturday. Not my kind of entertainment. We did enjoy the man who opened the evening with his insane ability with his para sail.

 Lost a star due to projection issues and a not very communicative emcee

 Worst Banff film festival I've ever seen. The fun is gone. Everything had to be inclusive or focused on environmental issues. Or old content.

 The films were ok this year but nothing spectacular. Way too much “agenda pushing” … “acknowledge you are on ancestral lands”, “must go green (all the while the athletes & filmmakers are taking long haul flights to hard to reach locations .., ugh hypocrite much?” Won’t go again. You’ve lost your connection to the audience while doubling down on your nonsense agenda.
